Letters to Pollock II - Painting by ZiOnE
Letters to Pollock II
If Part I is the whisper, Part II is the response.
"Letters to Pollock II" delves deeper — into rhythm, mess, and memory.
The act of painting becomes more physical, more forceful, and yet somehow more forgiving. ZiOnE allows the past to push back.
This piece completes the conversation. It's layered with contradiction — freedom.

A piece from the exhibition ZiOnE 1, a love letter to legacy.
The exhibition is a bold, expressive tribute to artists past, reimagined through ZiOnE’s distinctly modern lens. Exhibition One opens with Breakfast with the Saints, an abstract remix of traditional religious tableaus, and moves into the deeply personal Letters series—visual messages sent across time to creative giants like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Jackson Pollock.
The centrepiece, Stand Out in the Crowd, merges fashion, identity, and art in a dual work of wearable and visual storytelling. With nods to his late grandmother’s design legacy, emoji culture, and the surreal cancellation of art during lockdown, it’s a powerful statement on visibility and individuality.
This collection is a communion—between past and future, text and texture, silence and rebellion.
